Yumorinosato Onsen

Yumori no Sato is a serene onsen located in Chofu, Tokyo, offering a tranquil retreat from the city's hustle. Renowned for its distinctive black hot spring water, sourced from 1,500 meters underground, the water's unique hue is attributed to ancient organic materials like kelp and ferns, and is believed to provide various health benefits, including relief from muscle pain and fatigue.

The onsen features a variety of bathing options, such as indoor and outdoor baths, a carbonated water bath, an electric bath, and the traditional Goemon-buro—a cauldron-style bath named after the legendary outlaw Ishikawa Goemon.
