Ehime (愛媛県, Ehime-ken) is known for Dogo Onsen, one of Japan’s oldest hot springs, and the impressive Matsuyama Castle. The prefecture is also home to the Shimanami Kaido, a scenic cycling route connecting Honshu and Shikoku. The capital city is Matsuyama.
