Definitely going back 🤤

We took the private onsen for 3 people From 11am -1:30 pm it was too hot inside we couldn’t handle it that much, Then we went to the public onsen it was waaay better and very clean . But you have to be naked to inter the onsen I used a towel and when i got inside the pool i put it on the rocks , it’s okay to do that if you don’t feel comfortable naked . I rented a yokata for only 500 ¥ and the private fees include the public onsen and towels You don’t have to bring slippers, you’ll be walking barefoot

Nice onsen

A mix of covered and uncovered outdoor pools and one indoor pool. Would have liked some hotter pool options, but managed to find one ‘more warm’ option. Pro-tip - go to the lobby for Hotel Okada and ask for directions. They give you directions and let you take the elevator to level 8, then walk through hotel to avoid a long climb up the side road. Had a great dinner at the restaurant on level 2 - great views and big servings.

Nice onsen in Hakone.

A bit on the smaller side, but the views from the pools were beautiful. I liked the relaxation area, which included a comic book room (which unfortunately were all in Japanese). Beware that the onsen is about a 15 minute walk from the nearest bus stop and you need to climb a steep hill to reach it.
